Vesta Motor Yacht

Stabilisers that work while she is under way are the first engineering fact to know about Vesta: they hold her planing hull level while she is moving. She is an 88ft (27m) Azimut motor yacht of the Grande 27 series, delivered in 2023, with exterior lines by Stefano Righini and an interior by Salvagni Architetti that is lit through large windows and furnished with free-standing pieces around a dining table.

Where she cruises

Athens, in Greece, is her home port, and her cruising grounds are Greece and Cyprus, which puts the Mediterranean coast of two countries within reach of a single charter.

Accommodation and crew

Five cabins sleep ten guests aboard Vesta, each cabin with a bathroom of its own. The full-beam master suite sits forward of the main saloon with a king bed, a walk-in shower and two basins in its ensuite, and the four guest cabins lie on the lower deck, two VIP cabins with double beds and two twins. By day she can carry twelve, and a crew of four runs her, so ten guests have four people looking after them.

Comfort under way

Her hull is GRP and shaped to plane, and she cruises at 24 knots with 28 in reserve, so the miles between two bays pass quickly. She is classed by RINA and registered at Valletta under the Maltese flag, her build surveyed by an independent society.

On deck

The flybridge carries outdoor seating, a dining area with a wet bar and sun loungers aft, all under a hardtop that retracts, so the table can sit in sun or in shade. The foredeck has a large sun pad and seating of its own for eating outdoors, a second place to sit down in the open air, and the swim platform comes with a shower for rinsing off salt at the water's edge. A set of workout equipment travels with her as well, and exercise need not stop for the week.

Water toys

A 15ft Williams Jet Tender carries guests ashore. Two Seabobs mean two riders can be out at the same time, two inflatable Jobe paddleboards let two more move across the water under their own power, and water skis, a wakeboard and a Jobe towable that seats four are made to be towed. Four snorkelling sets with full-face masks and fins put four people over the seabed together, and there are inflatable toys besides.

Charter notes

Vesta is offered for hire by the week, July and August being her high season, and she suits two couples as readily as a family of up to ten. Her stabilisers also work at anchor, so she lies steady in a bay when the engines are off.
