Nami Motor Yacht

Stefano Righini drew her exterior and Carlo Galeazzi her interior, and both sit over a hull and superstructure moulded in carbon fibre. Nami is an 86ft (26m) Azimut motor yacht, built in 2007 and refitted in 2021.

Where she cruises

Nami's home port is Cannes, in France. From there her cruising area takes in France, Monaco, Italy and Malta, four countries of harbour towns and anchorages rather than a single stretch of coast.

Accommodation and crew

Four cabins sleep eight guests overnight. The layout runs to two doubles and two twins, with the master, the VIP and the twin cabins each keeping a bathroom of their own, and air conditioning and Wi-Fi throughout. A crew of four runs her, a crew member for every two guests aboard.

Comfort under way

Two MTU diesels take her to 44 knots flat out and 35 knots at a cruise, on a burn of 550 litres an hour, so she covers distance quickly between stops.

On deck

The main aft deck and a further open space forward on the main deck give two places to sit outdoors, and the main salon holds satellite television, video on demand and a PlayStation for time spent indoors.

Water toys

Seven toys travel with her: water skis, a wakeboard, a kneeboard and a towable donut for speed on the water, with SUP boards and snorkelling gear for a slower look at the shallows. An 11ft Williams waterjet tender runs the trips ashore.

Charter notes

Nami suits a family or a group of friends filling all eight berths, and she is available for three days or for a single day as well, her peak falling in July and August. Up to twelve can be aboard by day, so a shorter hire still brings the whole group along.
