About Tamara II

A refit in 2023 brought Tamara II up to date; Azimut built her in 2018, a 68ft (21m) motor yacht on a planing hull moulded in GRP and drawn by P.L. Ausonio Naval Architecture with the yard.

Water toys

Guests decide what comes along on the water: a 13ft tender with its outboard, or a SeaDoo Spark jet ski. Two stand-up paddleboards travel aboard, a board each for a pair who want to head off under their own power, and there is a towable tube, a donut and snorkelling gear for looking at what lies under the boat. A Seabob F7 can be arranged on request.

Where she cruises

Dubrovnik is her home port and Croatia her flag, and she cruises the coast of Croatia and south into Montenegro, which puts the shores of two countries within reach of the same trip.

Accommodation and crew

Four cabins sleep eight, two of them with double beds and two laid out with single berths, so a mixed group can sort itself between doubles and twins. A crew of two runs her.

Comfort under way

Two CAT diesels take her to a cruise of 22 knots and a top speed of 32; fuel use runs to 350 litres an hour, and July and August are her busiest months.

On deck

A swim platform brings the group down to sea level for swimming and for stepping into the tender, and with air conditioning below and Wi-Fi aboard the rest of the day stays comfortable.

Charter notes

Tamara II makes a straightforward rental for a family or a group of friends: eight by day as well as eight overnight, so the people sleeping in her cabins are the same people out on the water.
