SBK Motor Yacht

A second base at Naples means a week aboard SBK can start there rather than at her home port, and a group can choose which of the two ports suits it better. Alberto Mancini drew her exterior and Achille Salvagni her interior, lit through wide glazed windows, and she is a 68ft (21m) Azimut motor yacht from 2024.

Comfort under way

Two Volvo Penta IPS drives give her a top speed of 32 knots and a cruising speed of 24, so a long leg of coast is covered quickly. Her Carbon Tech construction keeps her stable and the ride smooth, and she is as settled lying at anchor as she is running fast.

On deck

The flybridge is large and divided between sunbathing and dining, so a meal can be served outdoors with the sea all around. In the bow a lounge converts from sofa to sunbed, there are sun-pads and chaise lounges besides, the aft cockpit is laid out for the group to gather together, and a swim platform gives a direct step into the water. A multi-zone sound system feeds speakers outdoors and inside, and the same music can play in the saloon and on deck.

Water toys

A Pirelli X350 tender takes guests ashore, and she carries two Seabobs, so two guests can use them at the same time. A single stand-up paddleboard and a set of snorkelling gear are aboard as well, for paddling along a shore and for looking beneath the surface.

Where she cruises

SBK's home port is Marina di Riposto in Sicily, Italy, and July and August are her high-summer months there. Every ground she works is in Italy: the Amalfi Coast and Liguria, shorelines to follow, the Pontine Islands and Sardinia, with anchorages off their shores, and the coast of Tuscany.

Accommodation and crew

Four cabins sleep eight guests: a master suite and a VIP stateroom with a queen bed in each, and two twin cabins. A captain and two crew run her, which puts three people at the service of eight guests.

Charter notes

SBK suits a family or a party of friends filling her eight berths, and she is available for hire for a three-day charter as well as a full week. With twelve aboard by day, the eight who sleep on her have room for others to join them on the water.
