Sea Coral II Motor Yacht

The Arcadia Construction System behind Sea Coral II includes patented solar panels, and her design favours glass and open volume over portholes. Hydraulic terraces fold out from either side of the main-deck dining area, opening that room to the air. She is a 102ft (31m) motor yacht from 2020, with naval architecture by Hot Lab Yacht & Design.

Accommodation and crew

Five cabins sleep eight guests overnight. Two are doubles and two are twins, and the fifth is a convertible family room with its own bathroom. Six crew run her.

Comfort under way

Two MAN V8 engines take her to 20 knots, though she settles at 13 and burns 150 litres an hour there. Her hull is semi-displacement GRP, and the stabilisers hold at zero speed as well as under way, which keeps roll down when she is lying at anchor.

On deck

Sea Coral II holds a sky lounge and a sun lounge as well as the main salon, and the bow and aft decks give open-air room. The aft platform raises and lowers on hydraulics, so a swim begins with a step down rather than a climb.

Water toys

A 14ft Castoldi tender takes guests ashore, and two Seabobs and two paddleboards mean two riders at a time on each. A kayak, an Onean electric surfboard, a wakeboard and water skis, towable donuts and snorkelling gear fill out the rest, and she is set up for fishing.

Where she cruises

Her home port is Cannes, in France, and her cruising ground runs from France through Monaco and along Italy, three coastlines to choose between.

Charter notes

Hire is by the week, and Sea Coral II suits a family or a group of friends, with July and August her busiest months. By day twelve can be aboard, so a wider group can share the water.
