Deniki Superyacht

Peter Heuvelmans Architectuur shaped the interior of Deniki and Tim Heywood Design her exterior, two studios rather than a single hand across the whole superyacht. Amels delivered her at 171ft (52m) in 2007, and a refit in 2018 has brought her up to date since.

On deck

The jacuzzi sits out on deck, a hot soak taken in the open air rather than under a ceiling. Deniki also carries a gym, a spa and a sauna, which means a training session, a treatment and dry heat all stay available through the week aboard.

Water toys

She carries six toys, among them a Wave Runner jet ski, water skis, a wakeboard, towable toys and snorkelling gear, so there is a way to ride the water fast, a way to be towed across it and a way to look beneath it. A beach tender takes care of the runs ashore.

Where she cruises

Her home port is Sandy Ground in Anguilla, and of the six yachts based there she is the longest. From there Deniki works Anguilla itself, St Martin, St Barths and the British and US Virgin Islands, five separate grounds to choose between.

Accommodation and crew

Ten guests sleep in her five staterooms, and a crew of eleven looks after them, so the crew outnumber the guests, with a member for each and a spare besides.

Comfort under way

Zero-speed stabilisers work whether she is moving or lying at anchor, so her roll is cut in both states, and she cruises at 13 knots with a top speed of 23 knots for covering a longer leg.

Charter notes

Deniki suits a yacht charter by two couples or a family, and her season runs the whole year, with December, January, February and March as its peak. Her hire is by the week, and by day she can take eighteen aboard, so the party that spends the day with her can be larger than the party that sleeps aboard.
