Milos Motor Yacht

A refit in 2022 brought Milos, an Aicon motor yacht launched in 2006, back up to date, and at 56ft (17m) she burns 250 litres of fuel an hour under way.

On deck

Her swim platform opens straight onto the sea, so swimming from the boat is a matter of stepping down rather than climbing.

Water toys

Three items make up her water kit: fishing gear, snorkelling equipment for a look below the surface, and an 11ft Yamaha tender that runs guests ashore.

Where she cruises

Her home port is Patras, and Greece – all of Greece, rather than a single stretch of it – is where she cruises, with July and August her peak months.

Accommodation and crew

Three cabins sleep six, two of them doubles and the third a twin, and two crew run her, which works out at a crew member for every three guests. Air conditioning and Wi-Fi come as standard, so the cabins stay cool and the group stays in touch.

Comfort under way

She cruises at 25 knots and has 34 knots at the top of the range, so a move between anchorages takes little out of the day.

Charter notes

A week aboard Milos works for a family or a group of friends: six take the cabins overnight, and up to twelve can be aboard by day, so the hire covers a wider group for time on the water.
