Petratara Superyacht

A beach club puts the guests of Petratara right at the water, and a crew of nine look after all aboard her. Admiral built her in 2014 and drew her interior as well, with her exterior from Luca Dini Design & Architecture, and she is a 154ft (47m) superyacht.

Accommodation and crew

Five cabins sleep twelve, split between three doubles, two twins and two pullman berths, which is a layout that takes two couples and a family alike. Nine crew look after them, a count that runs close to the guest list itself.

Comfort under way

Her stabilisers are the zero-speed kind, working when she lies at anchor as well as when she moves, so a swell reaching her at rest is damped as much as the motion of a passage. She cruises at 12 knots and has 22 in hand when there is a distance to close.

On deck

A deck jacuzzi gives a hot soak in the open air, and her gym and steam room mean a workout, and the steam that follows it, without going ashore for either.

Water toys

Eleven toys travel with Petratara. A Wave Runner carries a single rider off at speed, water skis, a wakeboard and a towable tube are made to be pulled behind a boat, and paddleboards and a kayak move at whatever pace the paddler chooses. A Seabob, inflatable toys and the gear for fishing and snorkelling complete the count, and a beach tender takes the party ashore.

Where she cruises

Manila is her home port, and among the yachts based there she is the longest, a rank she also holds across the Philippines as a whole. From Manila she cruises the Philippines and Malaysia.

Charter notes

Petratara suits two couples as readily as a family, and her hire runs by the week or for three days, with December and the first three months of the year her peak. By day the charter can have eighteen aboard, so a larger party can spend a day on her than can sleep on her.
