Viva La Vida I Sailing Catamaran

Viva La Vida I is a 78ft (23m) sailing catamaran built in 2022 by Sunreef Yachts. With 4 cabins – 2 King, 1 Twin and 1 Pullman – she accommodates 9 guests for multi-day sailing and 12 for day charters, with a crew of 4 running the boat and looking after everyone aboard.

The Sailing Life

There is something distinct about a sailing catamaran charter – the quiet of moving under wind power, the stability of two hulls, and the shallow draft that opens up anchorages deeper vessels cannot access. Viva La Vida I cruises at 8 knots and offers an open, airy layout where the galley, salon, and cockpit flow together naturally. This is hands-on sailing if you want it, or a fully crewed experience if you would rather sit back on the trampoline net and watch the coastline pass. Features include a swim platform.

Water Toys & Exploration

9 water toys including two Seabobs, an e-foil, two SUP boards, water skis, a wakeboard, two kayaks, and towable inflatables are aboard. The 16ft ZAR tender extends exploration to nearby reefs, beaches, and coastal villages. The catamaran’s shallow draft means Viva La Vida I can anchor in places that most yachts cannot reach, giving guests access to quieter, more pristine spots.

Sailing Mediterranean

Viva La Vida I charters across Spain, France and Italy in the Mediterranean, repositioning seasonally to follow the best wind patterns and cruising conditions. The best months are Jul, Aug, when steady winds and warm waters create ideal sailing. The captain plans each day around wind direction and guest preferences.
