Grayone Sailing Catamaran

Grayone runs with five crew for a maximum of eight guests, and among the things they look after are a jet ski and the fishing gear. She is an 80ft (24m) sailing catamaran, built by Sunreef Yachts in 2020.

Comfort under way

She cruises at 8 knots and tops out at 11, and her fuel use is 100 litres an hour, with July and August her busiest months.

On deck

Her swim platform meets the water, so a swim starts with a step down and ends with an easy climb back aboard. Karaoke is aboard as well, which gives the party a way of making its own entertainment.

Water toys

A jet ski, water skis and a wakeboard cover the faster end of the water, and two paddleboards suit quieter going close to a shore. Snorkelling gear and fishing tackle are aboard too, and a 16ft Castoldi tender takes the party ashore.

Where she cruises

Athens is home for Grayone, and she cruises in Greece and in Spain, so a group is choosing between two countries of coast rather than a single cruising ground, Greece being the country she sails out of.

Accommodation and crew

Four cabins sleep eight guests, three of them with queen beds and the fourth a twin, and she is air-conditioned with Wi-Fi throughout for a party that wants to stay connected.

Charter notes

Grayone suits a family or a group of friends who would rather the crew handled the boat, the tender and the toys. A charter with her runs a minimum of three days, and twelve can be aboard for a day on the water.
