Kingfisher V Sailing Catamaran
About Kingfisher V
Two E-foils travel with Kingfisher V, so a pair of guests can ride at once, and they are only part of what she keeps aboard for the water. She is a 67ft (20m) Lagoon sailing catamaran from 2021.
Where she cruises
Her home port is Mallorca, and she cruises in Spain, with July and August her peak months. Keeping to Spain means guests sail within a single country rather than crossing between them.
Accommodation and crew
Three cabins, each with a queen bed, sleep six, and three crew run the boat, which works out at a crew member for every two guests who stay the night. Air conditioning and Wi-Fi keep the cabins cool and the party in touch with home.
Comfort under way
Under sail Kingfisher V holds 8 knots, with 12 knots at the top of her range.
On deck
A swim platform puts the sea a step down from her deck and makes climbing back aboard after a swim easy.
Water toys
Five toys come with her in all: two paddleboards, enough for two of the party to head out together, a towable tube and snorkelling gear for the water around her. A 15ft Highfield tender runs guests ashore.
Charter notes
As a hire for a family or a group of friends, Kingfisher V is straightforward: six sleep aboard, while twelve can be with her for a day on the water, so friends can join a family for the day without anyone needing a bed.
