Kokomo Power Catamaran

Free weights, a rowing machine and a Pilates reformer travel with Kokomo, so a fitness routine need not be abandoned for the week aboard, and her interior is wide and full of daylight, laid out so a group can sit together. She is a power catamaran of 78ft (24m), built by Sunreef Yachts in 2021.

Comfort under way

Her busiest months are December, January and February, and she cruises at 23 knots, quick enough that the remote places she is built for come within reach.

On deck

Outside there is more than a single place to settle: room to lie in the sun, room to eat and talk with the others aboard, and space to work out in the open air.

Water toys

Foiling is the heart of her toy store – wakefoils, surf foils, windfoils and e-foils – with surfboards and wakeboards for anyone who prefers a plain board underfoot. A jet ski carries a rider, the 13ft jet tender takes people ashore, fishing tackle and snorkelling kit come out when they are wanted, and her dive equipment is set up for rendezvous diving.

Where she cruises

Kokomo's home port is Nadi in Fiji, and she cruises both Fiji and New Zealand.

Accommodation and crew

Eight guests sleep in four cabins, all of them doubles, and for a day on the water she can take twelve. Her crew of four works out at a crew member for every two guests sleeping aboard, and the chef among them cooks with produce sourced locally.

Charter notes

She suits a family or a group of friends, and a week's hire comes with a deck crew member who rides foilboards at sponsored level, so anyone in the party wanting to try foiling has a coach aboard for the week.
