Moondance II Power Catamaran

Fishing tackle and snorkelling gear travel with Moondance II, along with a 14ft Pirelli tender, so guests can fish, swim with a mask and fins, or be taken ashore.

Where she cruises

Auckland is her home port, and she cruises the waters of New Zealand year-round, with December, January and February the height of the New Zealand season.

Accommodation and crew

Three cabins, each with a double bed, sleep six, and a crew of two runs the boat and looks after the people in them. Air conditioning and Wi-Fi are aboard, so the cabins stay cool and nobody has to go offline.

Comfort under way

Sunreef Yachts built her in 2016, a 70ft (21m) power catamaran that cruises at 10 knots and can push on to 23 when there is distance to cover, at a fuel use of 60 litres an hour.

Water toys

Two SUP boards mean two people can paddle at the same time, while a wakeboard and a towable sofa are there for anyone who would rather be towed along behind.

Charter notes

Moondance II suits a family or a group of friends, and by day her numbers rise to twelve, so more can come along than sleep aboard. Three-day charters are offered too, which lets a family or friends hire her for a shorter trip.
