Orion LU Luxury Catamaran

Orion LU carries a jacuzzi on her deck, warm water in the open air after a day of swimming, and she is a 75ft (23m) luxury catamaran built by Sunreef Yachts in 2017.

Water toys

Ten toys come aboard with her: paddleboards and a kayak for moving under your own power, a surfboard, water skis, a wakeboard and a kneeboard, plus a towable banana, a donut and other inflatables that take several riders at a time. Snorkelling gear and fishing tackle are stowed too, and a beach tender handles the trips in to the sand.

Where she cruises

Her home port is Sandy Ground, in Anguilla. She works Anguilla's own coast and St Martin close by, with St Barths, the British Virgin Islands and the US Virgin Islands also within her range, each with its own beaches and anchorages to choose between.

Accommodation and crew

Five cabins sleep ten guests overnight, and for a day on the water she can carry twelve. A crew of four runs her and looks after the guests, and her busiest months are January, February, March and December.

Comfort under way

She rides on two hulls, cruising at 9 knots with 15 in hand when there is distance to cover.

Charter notes

Orion LU suits a family or two couples travelling together, ten of them at most, with the water and the crew doing the work of the week. Beyond the full week, she can also be taken for three days or for a single day's hire.
