Seazen II Luxury Catamaran

Her interior is a piece of Japanese minimalism: tatami matting underfoot, sliding doors and decorative screens in the manner of shoji, asked for by her owner while she was under construction in 2008, and renovated throughout in a major refit in 2023. Seazen II is a 70ft (21m) luxury catamaran from Sunreef Yachts, moulded in GRP.

Comfort under way

She cruises at 8 knots and makes 12 at the top end, using 60 litres an hour.

On deck

The width that twin hulls give her makes the outdoor space generous, with room to lie in the sun and to eat in the open air. A platform at her stern opens straight onto the water, which is where the swimming and the toys begin.

Water toys

A 12ft tender takes guests ashore, and the kit aboard runs to a Seabob, two paddleboards and two kayaks, so pairs can go out together, along with water skis, a wakeboard, fishing tackle and snorkelling gear.

Where she cruises

Her home port is on Corsica, in France, and she ranges the coasts of France and Italy; she also keeps a second base in Dubai.

Accommodation and crew

Four cabins sleep eight: a queen, two further doubles and a twin with a pair of single berths. Twelve can be aboard for a day on the water, and four crew run her, a crew member for every two guests staying overnight.

Charter notes

The season peaks in July and August, and a hire starts at three days. She suits a family with children, or friends travelling together, looked after by an experienced, professional team for the length of the charter.
