About Seazen II
Sunreef Yachts launched Seazen II in 2008, and a 2023 refit is the second entry on her record. For a buyer, a hull that age with recent work behind it reads differently to one left untouched since delivery. She is a Sunreef 70 sailing catamaran, a four-cabin, eight-guest layout, offered through Boatcrowd from Sicily.
Build and provenance
She is a Sunreef 70, a sailing catamaran that Sunreef Yachts built in 2008 and refitted in 2023. Both dates matter to a buyer: the build year sets her age and the refit year marks the last time her systems had attention, and a survey will read against both.
Layout and accommodation
Four cabins sleep eight guests, with a crew of four aboard to run her. The master cabin sits forward in the starboard hull, fitted with a double bed and its own bathroom, and a separate cabin in the aft port hull is arranged with three berths, which suits a family group as well as a couple travelling with friends. The remaining cabins carry double beds and ensuite bathrooms, and water toys are stowed aboard for time at anchor.
Performance and engineering
Two 240 hp Yanmar engines give her an 8-knot cruise, with 12 knots available at full throttle, figures that suit a catamaran built for comfortable passages rather than outright speed. Fuel tankage runs to two tanks of 2000 litres each and fresh water to two tanks of 750 litres, giving her the range for extended time away from a marina, and a watermaker tops up supply once at anchor.
On deck and at anchor
On deck, a flybridge lounge sits above the cockpit and an alfresco dining area sets up for meals in the open air, spaces that make a catamaran this size as much a base at anchor as a boat under way.

Seazen II lies in Sicily. A viewing can be arranged through Boatcrowd, with someone from our team present for it, and a survey and sea trial follow once an offer has been accepted. Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
