Good Vibes Power Catamaran

Shallow draft and a wide beam are what shape a week aboard Good Vibes: she can work her way into bays and anchorages that take little water, and the twin hulls hold her steady once she has stopped. She came from Leopard Catamarans in 2021, a 53ft (16m) power catamaran in the owner's version.

Where she cruises

Good Vibes is based at Split, and she cruises in Croatia and in Montenegro, which puts two countries of Adriatic coast within her reach rather than a single shoreline.

Accommodation and crew

Three en-suite double cabins take six guests overnight, the owner's suite filling an entire hull and two further guest cabins making up the rest, with a single berth in addition. Twelve can be aboard for a day on the water, July and August her peak months. A crew of two comes with the rental, so no more than six guests have two people looking after them.

Comfort under way

Twin Yanmar diesel engines give her a cruise of 12 knots and 16 at the top end, and the width across her two hulls keeps her level under way and at anchor.

On deck

The flybridge is her main open-air room, set up for meals outside and for sunbathing. The salon and the aft cockpit sit on a single level and open into each other, and panoramic glazing keeps the interior bright.

Water toys

A 13ft tender does the runs ashore, and for the water there is a kayak, two stand-up paddleboards, water skis, a towable sofa and three Asiwo scooters, with masks and fins for snorkelling.

Charter notes

A charter aboard Good Vibes suits a family or a group of friends sharing the boat: her sleeping cabins are set apart from the social areas, and her captain is flexible and works around the people aboard.
