About Jarana

The sailing catamaran Jarana, measuring 62ft (19m), was built in 2012 by Lagoon and refreshed with a refit in 2021. She features 3 cabins – 1 Queen and 2 Double – for 6 guests, with day charters welcoming 12. A crew of 3 handles sailing operations and guest service with equal skill.

Refreshed & Ready

The 2021 refit updated Jarana’s interiors, rigging, and onboard systems while preserving the responsive sailing characteristics that define a Lagoon catamaran. At 8 knots, she makes comfortable progress between islands and anchorages. Twin-hull stability and shallow draft remain key advantages – guests enjoy a rock-steady platform and access to shallow bays that deeper vessels cannot approach. a swim platform and refreshed cabins make extended stays comfortable and welcoming.

On the Water

7 water toys including two e-foils, two SUP boards, a wakeboard, a kayak, and towable inflatables keep days active and varied. The 18ft Highfield tender runs guests to shore for village walks, trailheads, and waterfront restaurants. Learn the basics of sailing or relax on the trampoline net – the crew accommodates both approaches with ease.

Routes & Season

Jarana charters across Spain, St Martin, St Barths, Anguilla, St Lucia, Guadeloupe, Martinique, Antigua and Barbuda and Grenada in the Mediterranean and Caribbean, repositioning seasonally for the best sailing conditions. The recommended charter window is Jan, Feb, Mar, Jul, Aug, Dec, when wind patterns and water temperatures align for exceptional sailing. A refitted sailing catamaran brings the assurance of updated systems with the timeless appeal of wind-powered travel.
