Jarana Sailing Catamaran

A refit in 2021 is the most recent work on Jarana, the 62ft (19m) sailing catamaran Lagoon built in 2012, and she stays in service year-round.

On deck

Her swim platform is what makes a day at anchor easy, with swimmers stepping down to the sea and climbing back out at the same level.

Water toys

Seven toys travel with her. The two e-foils let a pair of riders go out together and the two SUP boards do the same for paddlers, and there is a kayak, a wakeboard, a towable donut and snorkelling gear as well. An 18ft Highfield tender carries the group ashore.

Where she cruises

Ibiza in Spain is her home port, and a second base at Marigot gives her a Caribbean foothold too. Her grounds reach from Spain to St Martin, St Barths, Guadeloupe and Grenada, a wide spread of coasts to choose between.

Accommodation and crew

Three cabins, a queen and two doubles, sleep six, and up to twelve can be on board for a day on the water. Three crew look after them, so there is a crew member for every two guests staying overnight, and the cabins are air-conditioned with Wi-Fi reaching through the boat.

Comfort under way

She sails at 8 knots with 12 knots at the top end, and her busiest months are January, February and March and again July, August and December, which sets the pace when she moves on.

Charter notes

Jarana suits a family or friends of six overnight, with twelve aboard for a day on the water when the party is larger. Her three crew come with the hire and run the boat, the tender and the toys, so the guests' time goes on the water.
