Lady M (Croatia) Luxury Catamaran

Each of the four cabins on Lady M (Croatia) is a double, and together they sleep eight, so a family or four couples settle two to a room with a proper double bed each. She is a Lagoon luxury catamaran of 55ft (17m), built in 2026.

Where she cruises

Her home port is Trogir, and she cruises Croatia's Dalmatian coast on the Adriatic, with July and August the peak of her year. The coast gives coves to anchor in and harbour towns to walk, with local shops, restaurants and a history that reaches back to the ancient sailors who worked these same waters. Her skipper has raced for Croatia at European and World Championships and knows this coast, its past and its wine-tasting routes, and her hostess has lived in the country all her life, so a question about which beach or sight to head for gets an answer from people who belong here.

Accommodation and crew

A crew of two, a skipper and a hostess, looks after the eight guests she sleeps, and she carries no more than eight by day either, so the party aboard is the same size from morning to night. The hostess holds a cooking qualification and cooks home-style meals from a galley with an oven, a dishwasher, an ice maker, a freezer and a coffee machine.

Comfort under way

She cruises at 8 knots and reaches 12, and on two hulls she sits flat at anchor and under way, which means a deck that stays level while the coast slides past. Her hydraulic gangway lowers to the quay for a level step ashore in a harbour.

On deck

Her decks are teak, with three places to settle outside: a flybridge lounge deck for sunbathing and shaded seating, foredeck sunbeds with a lounge of their own, and a cockpit with a bimini for shade over meals outdoors and a fridge of its own, plus an outdoor barbecue and plancha grill for cooking in the open air. Speakers in the salon, the cockpit and the flybridge carry the same music to all three, and the salon itself has large panoramic windows, an open-plan dining area and a flat-screen television. Her hydraulic swim platform lowers to the water, so a swim starts with a step rather than a jump.

Water toys

Two paddleboards travel with her, enough for two paddlers at a time, and a RIB with a 60hp engine pulls the water skis, the wakeboard and the donut, while snorkelling gear is aboard for anyone who wants to see what lies under the surface.

Lady M (Croatia) is for a family or a group of friends of up to eight, chartered by the week or hired for no fewer than three days. The fact that matters most to a family is her skipper, who likes to take the children out on the water toys, and parents like him for the rest it gives them.
