Princess Mila Power Catamaran

An e-foil, fishing tackle and snorkelling gear all travel with Princess Mila, a 64ft (20m) power catamaran that Fountaine Pajot delivered in 2022, so a guest can ride, fish or look at what lies beneath her without bringing a thing.

On deck

Her swim platform makes the sea a step away rather than a jump, and it gives just as easy a way back up afterwards.

Water toys

A 15ft Highfield tender takes the group ashore, and the rest of her kit is meant for the water beside her: two SUP boards, which means a pair of paddlers at the same time, a kayak, a wakeboard and eight pool noodles.

Where she cruises

Nassau is her home port, the Bahamas her cruising ground, and she works year-round, at her busiest in December and from January through March.

Accommodation and crew

Four cabins – a king and three queens – sleep eight guests, and twelve can be aboard for a day out. Two crew run her, she is air-conditioned throughout, and Wi-Fi keeps anyone who needs to stay reachable in touch.

Comfort under way

Twin hulls give her a broad, level platform, and she cruises at 9 knots with 15 there if she needs them, on 41 litres an hour.

Charter notes

A family or a group of friends is the party she is set up for, and a charter can run three days or a full week, so a long weekend works as well as a longer stay aboard.
