Luna Motor Yacht

A jet ski travels with Luna, and a banana boat and a donut ride tow behind her, so the water around her is something to ride and be pulled across, not only to swim in. She is a 52ft (16m) Walker motor yacht, built in 2023.

Comfort under way

Luna cruises at 24 knots and reaches 30 at full throttle, and she is air-conditioned, so the inside of her stays cool while she runs at speed. Wi-Fi works aboard, and a phone or tablet behaves as it would on land.

On deck

Her swim platform brings a guest down to the level of the sea, so going in for a swim or a snorkel, and coming out again, is a step rather than a climb.

Water toys

Five toys make up her kit. The jet ski is for whoever wants the water to themselves at speed; the banana boat and the donut ride are for being towed in company; snorkelling gear opens up what lies beneath the surface; and a 12ft tender takes guests ashore and back.

Where she cruises

Abu Dhabi is Luna's home port and the waters of the United Arab Emirates her cruising ground, with her peak stretch of the year running November to February.

Accommodation and crew

A single cabin with a queen bed sleeps two guests, and three crew run her, so overnight there are more people looking after the guests than there are guests.

Charter notes

Luna suits a couple. As a hire she gives two people a boat of their own, with the jet ski, the tows and the snorkelling gear kept for them, and when friends come along she can have seventeen aboard by day in the United Arab Emirates, so the same charter serves a party as well as a pair.
