Blue Ice Motor Yacht

Blue Ice hosts twelve guests on the water by day and six overnight, so the group aboard can be larger than the group in the cabins. She is a 74ft (22m) Uniesse motor yacht, built in 2002 and refitted in 2018.

Comfort under way

Two MAN engines carry her at a cruising speed of 18 knots, with 28 knots in reserve, and she burns 240 litres an hour at that cruise, so a bay further along the coast stays within easy reach.

On deck

The aft deck holds a dining table for eating in the open air, while the flybridge has a table with chairs as well as a sunbathing area, and there is a sunbed on the bow. Inside, the salon pairs a long sofa and satellite television with an indoor dining table, so meals can be taken under cover or outside.

Water toys

A Seadoo Spark jet ski and a Seabob travel with her, snorkelling gear is aboard for time spent in the water, and a 13ft tender takes guests ashore.

Where she cruises

Capri, in Italy, is her home port, with a second base in Sardinia, and her cruising keeps to the coasts and islands of Italy, July and August being her busiest months.

Accommodation and crew

Three cabins sleep six guests, each with its own bathroom and satellite television, and air conditioning and Wi-Fi reach through the yacht. A crew of two looks after those six, a small team for a small party and service that stays personal.

Charter notes

She suits a family or a group of friends, and bookings run either as a full week or as a three-day hire, so a short trip on the water works as well as a longer stay.
