Enthusiast Motor Yacht

Two Seabobs travel aboard Enthusiast, so two riders can be under the surface at the same time, and they set the tone for a week on this 72ft (22m) motor yacht from Prestige Yachts, delivered in 2024.

Water toys

Alongside them she carries a stand-up paddleboard and a kayak, each a way to follow a shoreline under a guest's own power, plus snorkelling gear for looking at what lies beneath the hull and inflatable balls for the water. That makes six toys in all, and a tender for going ashore.

Where she cruises

Her home port is Corsica, in France, and she works the coasts of France and Italy. On the Côte d'Azur that means the harbours of Saint-Tropez, Cannes and Antibes, the Îles de Lérins with their coves of clear water for swimming, and the Esterel's red cliffs with inlets cut into them. The water off Porquerolles suits the snorkelling gear, and the Hyères Islands have shorelines to paddle along.

Accommodation and crew

Four cabins, three doubles and a twin, sleep eight guests, and eight is also her ceiling by day, so the people who wake aboard are the whole party. A crew of three, a chef among them, run her for those eight and do the cooking.

Comfort under way

Under way she holds 20 knots and can be pushed to 29.5, so the miles between stops go by quickly, and her season peaks in July and August.

On deck

Meals are served at three dining areas, two of them open to the air and a third inside, so the party can eat outdoors or in. Several tanning and lounging spaces spread the guests out in the sun, and a swim platform puts them into the sea in a step.

Charter notes

Enthusiast suits a family or a group of friends, eight at most, who plan to spend their days in the water. She is offered for a full week or a three-day charter, so a party hiring her for a shorter break gets the same boat, the same crew and the same toys as a week-long guest.
