Wide Liberty Motor Yacht
About Wide Liberty
The 2020 refit is what you feel first aboard Wide Liberty: up-to-date radar and navigation technology, wide interior and outdoor living areas, and windows large enough to keep daylight moving through the rooms. She is a 92ft (28m) motor yacht built by Torgem in 2000.
Accommodation and crew
Five cabins – a queen, two doubles and two twins – sleep ten guests, each with an en-suite bathroom and air conditioning, and twelve people can be aboard for a day on the water. A crew of five runs her, so each pair of guests has a crew member looking after them.
Comfort under way
Wide Liberty is unhurried, cruising at 9 knots with 12 available, and she uses 100 litres of fuel an hour. A watermaker makes fresh water aboard, which keeps the supply from running short.
On deck
Gym equipment sits on the front terrace, out in the open air, and the sundeck, bow area and aft deck give the group plenty of places to sit outside. Inside, the saloon holds the dining area. Her swim platform puts the sea a step away.
Water toys
A Seadoo jet ski, inflatable toys, snorkelling gear and fishing gear travel with her, along with two SUP boards, so two can paddle at the same time, and a 13ft Honda tender takes guests ashore.
Where she cruises
Athens is her home port, and her charters run through Greece and across to Cyprus. Greece alone gives her a wide spread of islands and anchorages to choose between, some of them reachable only by boat.
Charter notes
Wide Liberty suits two couples sharing the boat, or a family that fills her cabins, and she can be hired by the week or for a shorter booking, July and August being her busiest months, so a group can fit the trip to the time they have.
