Golden Eagle Motor Yacht

No two of her four cabins carry the same bed – a king, a queen, a double and a twin – so eight guests sleep aboard with double and twin berths to choose between. Golden Eagle came from Sanlorenzo in 2008 and was refitted in 2022, an 84ft (26m) motor yacht.

Accommodation and crew

Four crew look after those eight overnight guests, which works out at a crew member for every pair, and by day she can carry twelve; for an event aboard the figure rises to eighteen.

Comfort under way

She settles into a 20-knot cruise with 26 knots available and draws 350 litres of fuel an hour, so a bay further along the coast stays comfortably within reach.

Water toys

Six toys travel with her: two Seadoo jet skis, which puts two riders on the water at the same time, two SUP boards, a wakeboard, an inflatable canoe and snorkelling gear for the shallows. A 14ft tender takes guests ashore, and her swim platform turns swimming into a matter of a few steps down.

Where she cruises

Naples is her home port, and Golden Eagle works the coast and islands of Italy, July and August the busiest months of her year.

Charter notes

She is taken by the week, with three days the shortest stay, and the hire suits a family or a group of friends who want eight beds, a crew to run the day and the water within easy reach of the deck.
