About Vision

Vision carries a second boat, not an inflatable, that is kept for diving, so divers have a boat of their own rather than sharing the tender, and dive equipment can be brought aboard on request. Salim Craft built her in GRP as a 95ft (29m) motor yacht and delivered her in 2025, with an interior by Hope World in neutral tones.

Accommodation and crew

Six ensuite cabins sleep fourteen guests across two king beds, four twin cabins and two pullman berths, the pullmans in the forward pair of twins. The master cabin is forward on the main deck with large windows and its own seating area, and the remaining cabins, a VIP among them, lie on the lower deck. A crew of six runs her and speaks English and Arabic, and her chef cooks Arabic and international food to a menu that can be adjusted for the party, served at an inside table for six.

Comfort under way

Her Doosan diesel gives her a cruising speed of 10 knots and a top of 16, and Starlink Wi-Fi holds a connection where there is no shoreside signal, so the party stays in touch under way.

On deck

The upper deck holds loungers, a dining area, a wet bar and a grill, with a shade that can be rigged, and the main deck aft has a second table in the open, so a meal can be taken outside on either level. Showers and a changing space on deck mean wet kit is dealt with outside after a dive. Gym equipment travels with her – a foldable treadmill, dumbbells, kettlebells, resistance bands, yoga mats and push-up bars – so training need not stop for the week.

Water toys

A 6m speedboat with twin Yamaha 350hp engines, new in 2025, is the tender for going ashore, and for towing she carries water skis, a wakeboard, a kneeboard, a towable inflatable and a banana boat. Two kayaks and two paddleboards move under their own paddle, ten sets of snorkelling gear put ten people in the water at the same time, and fishing can be arranged on request.

Where she cruises

Her home port is Dibba in Oman and she cruises within Oman, where she is the longest yacht based in the country, her peak running from November to February. The Musandam region gives her fjords and Khasab with its castle, Telegraph Island keeps the ruins of its telegraph station and the operators' quarters, and the village of Lima sits behind mountains with beaches where a camp can be set ashore. Along the coast, shallow-water beaches suit snorkelling and secluded coves a barbecue on the sand.

Charter notes

Vision suits a large family or a group of up to fourteen with divers among them, and she is available for day charter and shorter stays as well as a full week's rental. Guided dives, wreck and night dives among them, are run from her, so the divers in the party have their diving arranged for them.
