Endeavour 2 Superyacht

Patricia Urquiola and Zuccon designed the interior of Endeavour 2, and Rossinavi built her around it in aluminium in 2017, a 163ft (50m) superyacht driven by a diesel-electric plant with five generators, two large Caterpillars and three smaller ones. She holds the International Superyacht Society's power award for yachts of her length class.

Where she cruises

Her home port is Amalfi in Italy, and she keeps a second base at Cannes in France, so a week aboard can begin on either coast. From either port she ranges across Italy, France, Monaco, Spain, Croatia and Greece, six coastlines to choose between rather than a single stretch of sea.

Accommodation and crew

Five staterooms sleep ten guests overnight and she carries twelve by day, with nine crew looking after them, which comes close to a crew member for each guest.

Comfort under way

She cruises at 12 knots, using 160 litres of fuel an hour at that pace, and July and August are the two months in which her season peaks. A draft of 2m brings the shallower anchorages off a beach within her reach.

On deck

The deck jacuzzi is her outdoor place to soak and the swim platform gives a direct step down into the sea. Her gym holds a Technogym exercise bike, a walker stepper and an Ercolina weight machine, so a week afloat need not be a week without training.

Water toys

Endeavour 2 stows a 22ft limousine tender in a garage on her foredeck for the runs ashore, and keeps a Sportis RIB with a Yamaha outboard for service and water sports. Two Seadoo Spark jet skis, each a two-seater, and two Seabob F5s go in the water alongside Jobe inflatable paddleboards, a towing donut, skis with a towing line and wakeboard packs in adult and junior sizes. Snorkelling sets and swimming goggles come in adult and child sizes, with neoprene suits, shoes and gloves to go over them, so the younger members of a family can get into the sea as readily as the adults, and fishing gear is aboard as well.

Charter notes

Endeavour 2 is chartered by the week, and five days is the shortest booking she takes. She suits two couples or a family, and she has a master suite with a king bed and two twin cabins, but the VIP suite is the room that shapes either hire: it has a private saloon of its own and divides through a sliding door into two double cabins, each with an ensuite bathroom, while the saloon sofa converts into a further double bed, so a couple can keep the whole suite to themselves or a family can take it as separate rooms.
