Minor Family Affair Superyacht

Six crew look after no more than nine guests aboard Minor Family Affair, and she holds herself level for them with stabilisers that run at zero speed when she is anchored and again while she is moving, so the deck stays steady whether she is lying still or making a passage. She is a Princess superyacht of 115ft (35m), built in 2017 and refitted in 2022.

Water toys

Six toys travel with her: an iAQUA SeaDart, water skis and a wakeboard to be towed on, a set of inflatable toys, and snorkelling gear for a look beneath the surface. A 19ft Williams tender carries guests ashore and brings them back to her.

Where she cruises

Cannes, on the coast of France, is her home port, and Minor Family Affair works the shores of France, Monaco and Italy, which puts the harbours and bays of three countries within reach of a single charter.

Accommodation and crew

Four cabins hold those nine overnight, and for a day on board the number can rise to twelve, with July and August her high season, so the party can grow for a day on the water without a berth being needed for each newcomer.

Comfort under way

Under way she cruises at 15 knots and has 25 knots in hand for a longer leg, and her fuel use is 430 litres an hour.

On deck

The deck jacuzzi gives the party warm water to sit in under the open sky, and the swim platform brings guests down to sea level, so getting into the water is a step rather than a climb.

Charter notes

Minor Family Affair suits a family or a pair of couples; her hire runs by the week or for a shorter stay of 3 days at the least, and for an event she can take 45 guests on board, so a gathering far larger than the nine who sleep aboard can come to her.
