Magia 2 Motor Sailer

Magia 2 carries scuba equipment aboard, so divers in the group can get into the water from the boat itself. She is an 82ft (25m) Phinisi motor sailer, launched in 2019.

Comfort under way

Seven knots is her cruising speed, with 10 knots available when she needs it. Her cabins are air-conditioned and Wi-Fi reaches through her, so guests sleep cool and stay in contact with home.

Water toys

A beach tender travels with her for going ashore, and snorkelling kit is aboard for guests who would rather stay on the surface than put a tank on.

Where she cruises

Komodo is her home port, and she keeps a second base at Raja Ampat, which gives her two places to start from in Indonesia. Magia 2 sails all year, December through March her peak months.

Accommodation and crew

Four cabins take ten guests overnight, and twelve can be aboard for the day; five double beds make up the sleeping arrangement. Twelve crew run her, more than a crew member for each guest, so the service never feels thin.

Charter notes

Magia 2 suits two couples travelling together or a family, and divers most of all. A full week aboard is the usual booking, and a three-day hire works too, a shorter way to see Indonesia from the water.
