Sequoia Motor Sailer

Scuba gear travels aboard Sequoia, so the group can dive straight from the boat, and she was built in 2017 – 85ft (26m) of Bugis motor sailer.

Water toys

Seven toys come aboard – SUP boards, a kayak, water skis, towables and snorkelling gear – and a beach tender runs people ashore, so time in the water can be spent paddling, waterskiing or being towed.

Where she cruises

Raja Ampat, in Indonesia, is her home port, and Indonesia is the whole of her cruising range; she works year-round, with December, January, February and March her peak months, so there is no closed season to plan around.

Accommodation and crew

Three cabins, each with a queen bed, sleep six guests, and a crew of ten looks after them – more than one crew member for every guest aboard. Each cabin is air-conditioned, and Wi-Fi reaches across the boat for anyone who needs to stay in touch.

Comfort under way

Sequoia cruises at 9 knots, with 15 available, so she covers her ground steadily rather than quickly.

Charter notes

Sequoia suits a family or a group of friends, and divers in particular: six sleep aboard for a week, or three days if that is the time available, and up to 12 can come for a day hire.
