Sixty Six Motor Yacht

Dixon Yacht Design drew both her exterior and her interior, so her lines and the rooms behind them came from a single hand: an 89ft (27m) Palmer Johnson motor yacht, built in 2002 and refitted in 2015.

Where she cruises

Hog Bay is home port for Sixty Six, and Bermuda is the whole of her cruising ground, with January, February, March and December her peak months.

Accommodation and crew

Four cabins sleep eight guests overnight, and for a day on the water she can carry twelve. A crew of four runs her and looks after everyone aboard.

Comfort under way

She cruises at 18 knots with 24 in reserve, which keeps an anchorage farther along within easy reach.

On deck

The jacuzzi on deck holds warm water in the open air, and below it the air conditioning means a cool cabin to come back to. Wi-Fi reaches the whole yacht, so the group stays in touch with home.

Water toys

Seven toys travel with her, covering both the fast and the slow ends of time in the water: SUP boards to paddle standing up, water skis, a wakeboard and towable inflatables for anyone happy to be pulled behind, plus snorkelling and fishing gear. A beach tender handles the runs ashore.

Charter notes

Sixty Six suits a family or a group of friends who want Bermuda's water rather than a long passage, with eight sleeping aboard. A day's hire, or a three-day charter, takes twelve, so a wider group can join for the day without anyone staying behind.
