Mr M Motor Yacht

Three cabins give Mr M a layout built around six: a master suite, a twin that takes a pullman berth for a seventh guest, and a VIP, each with its own bathroom. A semi hard top keeps her open to the air, whether the group is at the table or inside the saloon with the television on.

Where she cruises

Cannes, on the coast of France, is her home port, and her range covers France, Monaco and Italy, so guests are not tied to a single stretch of shore.

Accommodation and crew

Six guests sleep aboard in two double cabins and a twin, looked after by a crew of two, her peak months falling in July and August. Air conditioning and Wi-Fi run throughout, so the cabins stay cool and the group stays in touch.

Comfort under way

Built in fibreglass by Mangusta in 2005 and refitted in 2019, this 82ft (25m) motor yacht runs Arneson transmission and wears exterior lines drawn by Andrea Bacigalupo. She cruises at 35 knots and will do 39, using 600 litres an hour, which puts a more distant bay within reach.

On deck

Her swim platform sits low to the water, so getting in for a swim and back out again is easy.

Water toys

A 13ft Williams tender takes the group ashore, and water skis, a wakeboard and a towable donut wait for anyone who wants to be towed. Two Seabobs and two paddleboards let pairs go out together, and snorkelling gear is there for swimmers.

Charter notes

For a family or a group of friends, Mr M makes a straightforward hire: twelve can be on board for a day on the water, which leaves room for a wider circle to come along for the swimming.
