Tuscan Sun Motor Yacht

Tuscan Sun carries her stabilisers in two settings, a set that steadies her under way and a zero-speed mode that keeps damping once she has stopped, which leaves less movement underfoot either way. She is a 106ft (32m) Maiora motor yacht from 2008, refitted in 2021.

On deck

A swim platform gives the group a direct way into the sea and back out again, and wetsuits are carried in every size, so everyone aboard finds a fit.

Water toys

The 19ft tender is good for 35 knots and takes guests ashore, two Seadoo jet skis mean two riders out at once, and a Seabob F5 and a pair of paddleboards suit anyone who would rather be in the water than on top of it. Three sets of water skis, a wakeboard and a kneeboard cover the towed side of things, as do a banana and a doughnut, while fishing tackle and snorkelling gear fill out the rest.

Where she cruises

Dubrovnik, Croatia, is the home port of Tuscan Sun, and from there she cruises Croatia and carries on south to Montenegro.

Accommodation and crew

Five staterooms, three doubles and two twins, sleep ten guests, with air conditioning and Wi-Fi throughout; by day she can take twelve, and her busiest months are July and August. Five crew run her, a crew member for every two guests overnight.

Comfort under way

She cruises at 23 knots with 29 available, so the distance between stops takes less out of the day.

Charter notes

Tuscan Sun suits a family or a group of friends, and she goes out by the week or as a shorter hire of at least three days, so guests with only a few days free still get the tender, the toys and the run of her decks.
