Athos Motor Yacht

Her 2021 refit is the most recent work on Athos, a 105ft (32m) Leopard motor yacht from 2011, and there is a jacuzzi on deck for warm water under an open sky.

Comfort under way

She settles at a 28-knot cruise and holds 39 knots in reserve, so distance between anchorages goes by quickly.

On deck

Her swim platform sits at sea level, which makes getting into the water a step rather than a climb.

Water toys

A 13ft tender takes the group ashore, and snorkelling gear is carried for swimming at anchor.

Where she cruises

Athos keeps her home port in Sardinia, Italy, and all of her cruising is within Italy, July and August being her peak months.

Accommodation and crew

Five cabins sleep eleven guests, four of them with queen berths and the others a twin and a pullman, and a crew of five looks after them. The cabins are air-conditioned and Wi-Fi reaches through the yacht, so the group stays in touch with home.

Charter notes

Weekly hire suits two couples travelling together or a family taking Athos as a single group. Twelve can be aboard by day, so there is room on the water for company beyond those staying overnight.
