Rebel Superyacht

Ironwood, worked by hand in the phinisi tradition of Indonesia, forms Rebel's hull. Konjo Boat Builders finished her in 2020: a 98ft (30m) superyacht with hand-woven fabrics, carved timber and a wine cellar of old and new world wines.

On deck

Her roof deck is open for sunbathing or for jumping straight into the sea, and after dark it becomes an open-air cinema. The sheltered dining area on the main deck seats ten, so the whole party can eat outside together, and the lounge and the foredeck by the bridge add two more places to sit. A massage can be arranged aboard.

Water toys

Full scuba equipment travels with her, and snorkelling sets and two spear guns suit anyone happier on the surface. Three paddleboards and two sea kayaks let several guests be on the water at once, a wakeboard and a towable inflatable mattress come too, and two inflatable tenders take people ashore.

Where she cruises

Raja Ampat is Rebel's home port, and she cruises Indonesia through the year, with December to March her peak.

Accommodation and crew

Five cabins, each with an en-suite bathroom, sleep ten guests, and twelve can be aboard for a day on the water. Her largest cabin has a king bed, an extra daybed and wraparound windows; another is a bunk cabin with a double below and a single above. Eleven crew look after her guests, a cruise director among them, which is more than a crew member per person.

Comfort under way

She cruises at 8 knots and will make 14, and her draft is 3 metres.

Charter notes

Rebel suits two couples or a family, divers most of all. She can be hired for a week or for three days, and with a PADI instructor among her crew and certification on request, a beginner and an experienced diver can both dive straight from the boat.
