Last Call Motor Yacht

The refit Last Call finished in 2025 remade her for fishing and exploration: a custom cockpit with a fighting chair built out on an extension, bait tanks and live wells, a vacuum-pack machine, and ice makers and a freezer kept only for the catch. She began in 2002 as a long-range cruiser from Intermarine, a 132ft (40m) tri-deck motor yacht, and the work left her close to new.

On deck

Ten sit down to dinner outdoors on the aft deck, covered by the deck above. Once the tender is lifted off its stowage aft of the skylounge, the space becomes a lounge with a shaded bar and a barbecue, and the flybridge is enclosed, so its jacuzzi, bar and U-shaped dining table sit under cover with a Bromic heater to warm them. The foredeck keeps a pair of benches and a table for a quieter corner, and inside, the skylounge has a full bar, a deep sectional sofa and wide windows that put the landscape on show.

Water toys

A 23ft Brig rigid-hull inflatable with 130 hp is the tender that takes guests ashore. Two SUP boards and two single-seat Ocean Kayaks with rudders, all new in 2025, give two standing paddlers and two seated ones their own craft, and for the fishing she carries four salmon rods, four halibut rods and four cod rods, with outriggers for large game.

Where she cruises

Anchorage is her home port and Alaska her cruising ground, June, July and August being her peak months there. These are fjords fed by glaciers, waters where orcas breach and trophy halibut are caught, and her captain has cruised Alaska before.

Accommodation and crew

Five cabins sleep ten: a king in the full-beam master suite forward on the main deck, and queens in the other four. Below, two queen staterooms mirror each other and the VIP adds a walk-around bed and a built-in desk; the fifth is a double up on the bridge deck, once the captain's own, reached straight from the skylounge and suited to a nanny or an older teenager. Every stateroom has its own bathroom, climate control and a smart TV for streaming. Six crew look after the ten, and she carries no more than ten by day, so the party stays at those who sleep aboard.

Comfort under way

Her semi-displacement hull holds a steady 10 knots and reaches 18 when asked, and stabilisers that work at zero speed as well cut her roll both under way and lying at anchor.

Charter notes

Last Call suits a family or two couples, ten at most, who have come for the rods and the water, and her hire runs by the week or for a shorter stay. A professional fishing guide sails as part of her crew, so the expertise the refit was built around is aboard for the whole charter.
