Marlin Motor Yacht

Three cabins – a king berth, a queen and a double – sleep six aboard Marlin. She is a 78ft (23m) Horizon motor yacht from 2005, given a refit in 2019.

Water toys

Marlin carries a Seadoo jet ski for a rider who wants some speed of their own, a SUP board for paddling around the anchorage, and a 10ft Callegari tender to run people ashore. Snorkelling and fishing are both provided for.

Where she cruises

Athens, in Greece, is her home port, and her cruising stays within Greece, July and August the peak of her season.

Accommodation and crew

Three crew look after the six on board, which means the boat, the tender and the toys are handled for the group rather than by it. Air conditioning and Wi-Fi are aboard, keeping the interior cool and the party in touch with home.

Comfort under way

She cruises at 17 knots with 20 knots in reserve, and uses 300 litres of fuel an hour, so an anchorage further off stays a practical choice.

On deck

A swim platform takes you from deck to sea in a single step, and makes climbing back aboard after a swim straightforward.

Charter notes

Marlin suits a family, or friends travelling together, who want a crewed hire rather than a boat to run. Twelve can be on board by day, room for a larger group to share the water.
