Sea Axis Superyacht

Eighteen guests can be aboard Sea Axis for a day on the water, and the decks they fill were drawn by Mulder Design, with Art Line behind the interior. She is a 125ft (38m) Heesen superyacht, and that length is what gives a party of that size room to spread out.

Water toys

Eight toys travel with Sea Axis. A single Seadoo jet ski and a single Seabob each carry a rider; the water skis, wakeboard, kneeboard and inflatables are there to be towed, and snorkelling gear goes to anyone who would rather be in the water than above it. Her beach tender takes guests to the shore and brings them back again.

Where she cruises

Juneau, Alaska, is her home port, and of the five yachts based there she is the longest; Alaska is where she cruises, her season a set part of the year rather than the whole of it, with June, July and August at its heart.

Accommodation and crew

Five cabins sleep twelve guests overnight, and a crew of seven comes with her hire to run the boat and look after those aboard, with air conditioning and Wi-Fi throughout for anyone who needs to stay in touch.

Comfort under way

She cruises at 10 knots and can make 20, so when a longer stretch of water lies ahead there is speed in hand to shorten it. The hull dates from 1988 and her latest refit from 2024, which puts recent work on a boat with long service behind her.

On deck

The deck jacuzzi puts hot water in the open air, and a gym aboard means a workout needs no trip ashore.

Charter notes

A charter aboard Sea Axis suits a family or couples travelling together: twelve sleep aboard for the week, and the larger day count leaves room for others to come out on the water with them.
