O'Neiro Superyacht

Zero-speed stabilisers hold O'Neiro steady when she lies at anchor as well as when she is under way, so there is less roll whether she is stopped or moving. Golden Yachts completed this 118ft (36m) superyacht in 2023 as a modern reading of the sporty Akhir series, and she is one of six yachts from that yard in the Boatcrowd fleet. Dimitra Agapitou drew her interior in smokey taupe and sage, with pewter and touches of oyster set against dark moka wood floors, natural straw and marble, and Crestron automation handles the lighting and the audiovisual equipment.

Accommodation and crew

Six staterooms, all with their own bathrooms, sleep eleven guests, and her day limit is twelve. Five of them are on the lower deck: the master suite, two doubles and two twins, one twin carrying a Pullman berth, with the sixth on the main deck. Seven crew under her captain run her for those eleven, and an office aboard gives a place to work.

Comfort under way

Two MTU engines drive her fibreglass hull at 18 knots with 20 at the top, so the distance between anchorages is covered quickly, and two Onan generators carry her air conditioning and Wi-Fi when she is off shore power, with July and August the height of her season.

On deck

Her sun deck carries a dining area, and she has sunpads and an outdoor bar besides, so meals, sun and a drink can all be taken in the open. A swim platform puts the sea a single step down. Inside, the saloon and its dining area give the party somewhere to eat out of the sun.

Water toys

A 13ft Williams SportJet 395 tender with a Yanmar engine carries guests ashore, and for towing she has a Jobe wakeboard, two towable tubes and two pairs of Jobe Allegre combo skis in different lengths, a 67 and a 59, so skiers of different sizes each find a fit. A Seadoo Wake jet ski, two Seabob F5S and a Jobe Aero Yarra 10.6 paddleboard go in the water alongside an Aquaglide Jungle Jim inflatable, and fishing and snorkelling equipment are aboard for time in the sea itself.

Where she cruises

Lefkada, in Greece, is O'Neiro's home port. Her waters cover Greece and Turkey, taking in the Ionian Sea as well as the Aegean and the Cyclades, so a hire aboard her can range across two seas.

Charter notes

O'Neiro suits two couples who want a double suite apiece, or a family with the numbers to fill six cabins, and for an event charter she can take fifty aboard. The stateroom on her main deck is a multi-use room set up as a playroom, its sofa converting into a double bed, so it serves as a sixth cabin or as a room to play in.
