Le Chiffre Motor Yacht

Fuel use of 250 litres an hour and a 2016 refit sit behind Le Chiffre, the 65ft (20m) motor yacht Galeon built in 2009.

Water toys

A jet ski, two Seabobs, a paddleboard, water skis and a wakeboard travel with her, with gear for fishing and snorkelling too. Her tender, a 10ft Brig with a 30 horsepower Evinrude, comes off a hydraulic stern lift and doubles as the water-ski boat.

Where she cruises

Le Chiffre has her home port at Split in Croatia, and she cruises Croatia and carries on south into Montenegro, which gives guests two coastlines to move between rather than one.

Accommodation and crew

Four cabins sleep eight guests, the master and the VIP each with their own bathroom and the two other cabins sharing the third. Three crew look after the eight, which keeps the service personal.

Comfort under way

She cruises at 20 knots and will hold 30 flat out, and bow and stern thrusters with trim flaps make her easy to place in a crowded harbour.

On deck

The teak-laid flybridge carries a barbecue, a wet bar, a fridge with an icemaker and sunbeds in the open air – July and August are her peak months – while the stern seating area has a fixed table for eating outside and a broad sunbed lies on the bow. A teak swim platform makes getting into the water easy.

Charter notes

Le Chiffre suits a family or friends travelling together, and she takes three-day charters as well as longer hires. Eight sleep aboard and twelve can be on board for a day on the water, so more of the group can join for the swimming and the toys.
