Sal T Motor Yacht

Sal T came out of a refit in 2018, and the care she has had since is easy to see: a 78ft (24m) Filippetti motor yacht from 2008 that has been kept close to new.

Where she cruises

Dubrovnik is her home port in Croatia, and she ranges across the islands and coast of Croatia and on into Montenegro – island-hopping is what she is set up for.

Accommodation and crew

Four cabins take eight guests overnight: a master, a VIP, a further double and a twin, each with its own shower room, and by day the number aboard can rise to twelve. Captain Pavo, chef Ana and deckhand Ivan have run her together for years, a crew of three who cook, drive the tender and keep the cabins in order.

Comfort under way

Two CAT engines give Sal T 16 knots in cruise and 24 flat out, which puts more coastline within reach.

On deck

Her outdoor space is the larger part of her: a wide flybridge in the open air, places to eat outside, and a swim platform that puts the water a step or two below.

Water toys

A Williams tender runs people ashore, a two-seat Sea Doo jet ski takes a pair out at a time, and there is a Seabob, a wakeboard, waterskis in adult and junior sizes, a towable doughnut, fishing tackle and snorkelling sets.

Charter notes

Sal T suits a family or a group of friends rather than a crowd, and she goes out for a week's hire or, at the shortest, three days, with July and August her peak months. Her crew are local, and waterskis in junior sizes mean the smallest guests are catered for as well as the adults.
