Saint Luca Motor Sailer

Fishing gear comes with the hire of Saint Luca, a motor sailer of 85ft (26m) built by Fethiye Shipyard in 2019, so anyone in the group who fishes is already set up.

Where she cruises

Istanbul is Saint Luca's home port, and Turkey is her only cruising ground, with July and August her busiest months. Everything she does happens inside Turkey, so guests get to know a single coast rather than a string of countries.

Accommodation and crew

Five cabins sleep ten guests, with four crew aboard to run her.

Comfort under way

Under power she cruises at 10 knots and tops out at 16, which gives her a faster gear when there is distance to cover between anchorages.

On deck

A jacuzzi sits out on deck, warm water in the open air.

Water toys

Eight toys travel with her: SUP boards and a canoe to paddle, water skis, a towable banana and a donut for anyone who wants to be pulled along behind the boat, and inflatables and snorkelling gear for swimmers. A beach tender takes the party ashore.

Charter notes

Saint Luca suits a family or two couples who care more about the swimming and the fishing than the miles, and for a day on the water she takes twelve, two more than she sleeps.
