About Julie M

Refitted in 2016, Julie M carries a contemporary interior of light oak and leather, and daylight reaches deep into her rooms. She is an 83ft (25m) Ferretti motor yacht from 2008.

On deck

An inflatable beach platform unfolds into a floor at water level, so the sea starts where the deck ends, and a swim platform gives a second way in. A tub sits in the open air on the flybridge.

Water toys

Three Seabobs put three guests under the surface at once, while two kayaks and two paddleboards send pairs off under their own power. Water skis, a kneeboard, three towable rings and kitesurfing kit make up the quicker end of her toy store, and three complete sets of diving equipment mean three guests can go down together, with snorkelling gear and fishing tackle for the rest. A 14ft Williams jet tender does the runs ashore.

Where she cruises

Athens is her home port, and she cruises Greece and nothing beyond it, her peak months falling in July and August; the mainland shore and the islands of Greece are hers to work.

Accommodation and crew

Four cabins sleep eight: two with queen beds, two with twins, and a twin converts to a double when a group needs it. The master has windows from floor to ceiling, so the sea is in sight from inside. Five crew to eight guests keeps attention close.

Comfort under way

Julie M cruises at 24 knots with 32 knots available, and burns 500 litres an hour. Zero-speed stabilisers work when she is stopped as well as moving, which takes the roll out of a night at anchor.

Charter notes

A week's rental is her usual booking, with a three-day charter also offered; eight sleep aboard and twelve can be on board while she is out for the day, so she suits a family or a group of friends.
