Pampero Motor Yacht
About Pampero
Pampero's Yamaha Wave Runner seats two, so a rider can take a passenger out as well, and it heads the six toys carried by this 82ft (25m) Ferretti motor yacht, built in 2004 and refitted in 2024.
Water toys
A 13ft Zodiac tender with a 40 hp Honda outboard handles the trip ashore and pulls the water skis and a towable built for two. For time spent in the water rather than on it, there are single and double inflatables, a paddleboard and snorkelling gear.
Where she cruises
Her home port is Naples, in Italy, and she cruises Italy and Malta, two countries' worth of coast to anchor along rather than a single shore.
Accommodation and crew
Pampero, at her busiest in July and August, sleeps eight guests in four cabins: a master with a walk-in wardrobe, a VIP and a pair of twins, each with a bathroom of its own.
Comfort under way
Her planing hull is built in GRP, and she cruises at 13 knots with 18 in reserve, burning 350 litres an hour; watermakers mean fresh water is made on board.
On deck
The large aft cockpit has a dining table for eight, so everyone sleeping aboard can sit down together outside, an ice maker to hand and a bathing platform that makes getting into the sea easy. Forward and on the top deck, the sundeck is cushioned and carries a bar with a fridge and an electric hob, so food and drink are dealt with in the open air.
Charter notes
A family or a group of friends takes her as a single party, with three crew aboard for eight guests and the whole boat coming on hire with them. By day up to twelve can be on board, more than the eight who sleep aboard.
