About Sofia D

The date to know about Sofia D is 2022, the year of her refit; Ferretti built her in 2004, and she is a 77ft (23m) motor yacht.

Comfort under way

She cruises at 25 knots and her top speed is 30, so a group can cover distance without the day turning into a passage; fuel use comes to 400 an hour.

On deck

A swim platform makes the sea easy to get into and easy to climb out of again.

Water toys

Nine toys travel with Sofia D, which covers both the fast ways into the water and the slow ones: a jet ski, a Seabob, a paddleboard, water skis, a wakeboard, a kneeboard, towables and snorkelling gear, with a 13ft Novurania tender for going ashore.

Where she cruises

Athens is her home port and Greece her only cruising region, July and August the height of her year, so the water she works is the water her base sits on. Staying inside Greece keeps her anchorages in the same country rather than spread across several.

Accommodation and crew

Four cabins take nine guests overnight. Two queens, two twins and a pullman berth make up the sleeping, the cabins are air-conditioned, and Wi-Fi reaches through her, which keeps a group in touch when they want to be. A crew of four looks after a maximum of nine aboard.

Charter notes

Sofia D makes a straightforward hire for two couples sharing her or for a family. By day her numbers rise to twelve, so friends can come aboard for the hours spent on the water.
