Sea Sons Motor Yacht

An Audi e-trone E-foil travels in Sea Sons' toy locker, and twelve guests can be aboard while she cruises. Ferretti built this 72ft (22m) motor yacht in 2016, with a refit in 2023.

Water toys

A Seabob 5S goes over the side too, and two stand-up paddleboards let a pair of guests work along a shoreline under their own power, with inflatable toys as well. A 13ft Williams jet tender runs the group ashore.

Where she cruises

Sardinia, in Italy, is Sea Sons' home port, and she works the coasts of Italy and France, the coves of the Amalfi Coast among the anchorages within her reach.

Accommodation and crew

Four cabins below deck sleep eight: a master with a king-size bed, a fold-down dressing table and its own bathroom, a VIP with an ensuite, and twin cabins to port and starboard, the starboard pair sharing a jack-and-jill day head. A crew of three runs her.

Comfort under way

Gyro stabilisers do their work whether she is anchored or making way, so there is less roll. She cruises at 22 knots and will run to 31 knots, which brings a more distant bay into range.

On deck

Two spots outside take a table: the aft deck, with an ice maker to hand, and the flybridge, where a BBQ, a fridge and a retractable bimini sit beside room to lie in the sun. Steps lead down to port from the main aft deck to a hydraulic swim platform with a swim ladder and a hot and cold shower, so the water is a walk down rather than a climb.

Charter notes

Sea Sons charters by the week as a crewed rental and suits a family or a group of friends, July and August her peak months, and her snorkelling gear runs to eight adult sets plus child sizes, so smaller swimmers are kitted out alongside the adults.
