Marino Motor Yacht

Marino burns 400 litres of fuel an hour under way, the working figure behind a 72ft (22m) motor yacht that Ferretti built in 2003 and that came through a refit in 2018.

On deck

Her swim platform means guests can drop into the sea and climb back aboard without fuss.

Water toys

Seven toys travel with her: a Seadoo jet ski, two SUP boards so two paddlers can be out at the same time, water skis and a towable donut for the boat to pull behind her, along with snorkelling gear and gear for fishing. A 12ft Zodiac tender takes the group ashore.

Where she cruises

Marino's home port is Hvar, in Croatia, and her charter grounds cover Croatia and Montenegro, two coastlines a group can move between.

Accommodation and crew

A crew of three looks after eight guests in four cabins – her peak falls in July and August – with air conditioning in the cabins and Wi-Fi for anyone who needs to stay in touch.

Comfort under way

She cruises at 23 knots and holds 33 at the top end, so longer distances between anchorages take less of the day.

Charter notes

She makes a straightforward hire for a family or a group of friends, and for a day on the water she can have twelve aboard, which leaves room for others to join the group.
