Silver Motor Yacht

Stabilisers earn their keep aboard Silver twice over: they hold her steady when she is stopped and again when she has way on, which takes much of the movement out of the ride. She is a 46ft (14m) Ferretti motor yacht from 2019.

Comfort under way

Her 2023 refit is recent, and a cruise of 27 knots with 31 knots in hand keeps a further-off bay inside comfortable range. The interior is air-conditioned and Wi-Fi reaches through the boat, so time aboard need not mean losing touch.

On deck

The flybridge carries a wet bar with a fridge of its own, which keeps drinks in reach out in the open air. A hydraulic swim platform turns the move between deck and water into a simple step.

Water toys

A Seabob, a paddleboard and snorkelling gear cover the water around her, and two towables, a tube and a donut, come along for anyone who wants to be pulled behind the boat. Her 13ft tender handles the trips ashore.

Where she cruises

Rogoznica in Croatia is her home port, and her waters take in both Croatia and Montenegro, so there are two stretches of coast to choose between.

Accommodation and crew

Two cabins take four guests overnight, and six can be aboard for a day on the water. The sleeping runs to two doubles and a bunk berth. Two crew look after her, which works out at a crew member for every two guests staying the night.

Charter notes

Silver suits two couples who would rather have a small boat and her crew to themselves, and with a day out or a three-day charter both possible, a short hire works as readily as a longer stay. Her season is at its busiest in July and August.
