Phantom Motor Yacht

A 2023 refit brought Phantom up to date, and with two crew aboard for four guests staying the night, the service stays close and unhurried. She is a Fairline motor yacht of 63ft (19m), built in 2015.

Comfort under way

She cruises at 25 knots and holds 34 in reserve, so a bay further along the shore never feels far off.

On deck

Her swim platform makes the move from deck to sea, and back out again, a simple step rather than a scramble.

Water toys

Three toys travel with her: a jet ski, a Seabob F5S and snorkelling gear, which between them cover speed across the surface and a slower look at what is under it.

Where she cruises

Simpson Bay is her home port, on St Martin, and her range takes in St Martin, St Barths and Anguilla, so there is more than a single coastline to choose an anchorage from.

Accommodation and crew

Two cabins sleep four, a queen and a twin, which is a straightforward way to divide a small group without anyone drawing the short berth. She is air-conditioned, and Wi-Fi aboard keeps anyone who has to stay reachable in touch.

Charter notes

Two couples are the natural fit here, with a cabin apiece and a crew of two running the boat around them. She is also available to hire by the day or the half day, busiest in December, January, February and March, and twelve can be aboard for that, which leaves room for friends to join for the water without needing a bed.
