Elegance Motor Yacht

Three cabins take the whole party – two with a queen berth, the third with twins – and six guests sleep aboard. Elegance is an 82ft (25m) motor yacht from Elegance Yachts, built in 2003 and refitted in 2019.

Accommodation and crew

A crew of four runs her for those six guests, close to a crew member each, so the cooking, the tender work and the cabins are all covered.

Comfort under way

A pair of MAN engines gives her 16 knots at the top end, and she settles at 12 knots to cruise, an unhurried pace between anchorages.

Water toys

The 13ft tender carries a ski tow bar and line, so the adult skis and the two towable donuts have something to pull them, two riders at a time. Two paddleboards go in with the floating noodles and the small inflatables, and the snorkel, mask and fin sets run to child sizes as well as adult, so younger guests have gear that fits.

Where she cruises

Valletta is her home port on Malta, and Malta is the single ground she cruises, with July and August her peak months.

Charter notes

Elegance suits a family taking her for a week, or friends who want the run of the boat between them. She also goes out for a full day or a half day, with as many as twenty aboard, which opens her to a larger gathering on the water without the cabins coming into it.
